The patterns were developed as a personal project by Jamie Sharp and are entirely hand-drawn, inspired by ancient textiles. Every detail was carefully crafted to embrace imperfection and achieve an authentically artisanal aesthetic.

The second pattern, in particular, is inspired by a Russian fabric dating back to between 1700 and 1899, reinterpreted with a contemporary approach while staying faithful to its historical origin. At the core of the creative process was the intention to preserve a strong sense of handmade, turning imperfection into a distinctive visual language.

Outcome. Patterns that merge historical research with artisanal sensitivity, translating the continuity between tradition and contemporary expression into a visual form.
